The Kidney & Hypertension Group are leaders in Transplant Nephrology with the area’s highest rates of kidney transplantation. Our team member, Elio Torres, M.D., is a Transplant Nephrologist and a former Albert Einstein Medical Center Medical School faculty member.

Our services for patients needing kidney or kidney/pancreas transplant include:

• Pre-transplant evaluation and referral to appropriate specialists within the state’s top transplant programs. Our close working relationship with these programs helps to alleviate the red tape and frustration oftenassociated with this process.
• Post-transplant care for kidney and kidney/pancreas transplant recipients on a long term basis.
• Pre-emptive kidney transplants (avoiding the need for dialysis).
